Mike's edition: 'First published 1959'; Boards brownish red; boards decorated with repeated 'Brock' dog logo; lettering black on spine; 119 numbered pages.
Full page black and white frontispiece and 24 other line illustrations, some simply decorative; dustwrapper cover price 6/-.

Later edition: 'First published 1959': in price-clipped dustwrapper but with printed price at top right of the front flap - price 55p 11s net; details as 'Mike's copy' except for the more plush binding: the boards are bright red, plain with gold lettering, stars and lines on the spine only.
