It was unfortunate that Uncle Ted's new car should have been stolen at just the time that Joey and Clapper had been asked to keep an eye on it. But it strengthened their determination that they themselves should discover whose was the master mind behind the wave of car stealing in the neighbourhood. And they lost no time in setting about their self-appointed task . . .

Red boards with title, author and Joey logo on front; 119pp; frontispiece and five other b/w illustrations.
The dustwrapper is full colour and includes a spine picture; the Joey books logo is present on the front flap.
